Lago Vista High School Prom Rules and Expectations

WHO CAN ATTEND?
LVHS Students & Graduates
- Only Lago Vista High School juniors and seniors in good standing are allowed to purchase prom tickets. Good standing means:
You do not owe hours due to attendance.
You do not owe fines for technology or parking fees.
You are not currently in DAEP.
Former Lago Vista High School graduates accompanying a current junior or senior to prom must have graduated within the last 2 years (Class of 2021 or Class of 2022).
- Guests Outside of LVHS
The PROM GUEST APPROVAL FORM must be completed, turned in, and approved BEFORE you purchase your guest's ticket.
Only one guest per LVHS student is allowed. All students and their guests must present a photo ID at the door.
No guest below 9th grade or older than 20 years of age will be admitted. Middle School and Junior High students, regardless of their ages, are not allowed to attend.
Completed forms must be turned in to Mrs. Dohm no later than Monday, April 1st.
TICKETING:
Each junior or senior may purchase a maximum of 2 tickets.
Each junior or senior is allowed to bring only one guest.
Tickets will be purchased through Hometown ticketing and can only be purchased using a student LVISD email address and ID number. Tickets will be sent to the LVISD email address.
Students will receive a unique ticket code through their email address that will be scanned, ALONG WITH A PHOTO ID, at the prom venue.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE DOOR:
Email ticket codes and a picture ID will be required at the door for all guests.
No outside food or drinks, including water bottles, will be allowed inside.
All students and guests will be subjected to a non-invasive search of pockets, jackets, purses, clutches, etc. by school personnel at the time of check-in.
After check-in, students who leave the venue for any reason will not be allowed re-entry. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE WILL BE MADE. No refund will be given.
It is at the discretion of LVHS and facility staff to allow entrance into the prom. If a student appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the student will not be allowed entrance into the prom. No refund will be given.
Disciplinary rules and repercussions apply at prom the same as they would apply at school and could affect one's ability to participate in graduation activities.
